Shakti of Saraswati: The Goddess of Sound, Wisdom & Intuitive Knowledge with Tara and Mary Bue

Throughout history humans have used mythology, archetypes, symbols and sound to understand and build relationships with nature and the universe. In yogic philosophy the many Gods and Goddesses in the Hindu pantheon represent specific energies in the world and in varying degrees, in ourselves. Learning the names and forms of these energies allows us to align with and access different aspects of the creative feminine power known as Shakti, which can accelerate our journey of self awareness and evolution.

Saraswati is also known as Vac which is the name for the original sound current of creation and the essence of the Vedas. The Sanskrit language is attributed to her as well as wisdom and intuitive knowledge. She plays the vina which represents the vibrations of sound and rhythm, the music of the cosmos and hints at what we now know as string theory.

Saraswati flows, like the ancient Indus river named after her, as a flash of inspiration or insight, as sound, language, art, music, elevated creativity and inner wisdom. She rules the brow chakra as the power of the mind, but resides in the throat chakra as the power of speech.

This immersion will focus on the shakti of Saraswati to enhance both learning and teaching as well as finding our voice, speaking our truth, accessing intuitive wisdom, enhancing creative endeavors and flowing through life with more ease and grace like the swan upon which Saraswati often rides.

We will tap into Saraswati's qualities with Mantra, Yantra, Mudra, Meditation, Ritual, Gentle Asana, Shaktiflow, Yoga Nidra, Sonic Blessings, Dharma Talks and Sharing. No prior experience necessary, just an interest and openness to the creative feminine and all it brings.

We will record each session after our group check in and send show notes, handouts and the recording to everyone registered whether in attendance or not.
